Immigrant Women in US

Approximately 17.5 million woman immigrants are staying in the United states, among them almost 16% of them live in poverty. These woman encounter obstacles not only in the job front but also are subject to violence, discrimination, domestic abuse, sexual harassment, wage theft, and above all they are not even entitled for proper access to health care due to lack of citizenship.
