A political group, Americans for a Conservative Direction, backed by Zuckerberg’ FWD.us has bought ads to support the Republican Rep. Paul Ryan’s efforts to save Immigration Reform. The total spending has been $350,000.

The pro reform group attempts to convince Conservatives and Republicans to support the Bi-Partisan bill without losing focus on the Conservative angle. The ad highlights the Conservative Solution, a solution with certain conditions, that pro reform Republicans want in the bill, and will air up to September first week.

According to Politico, the ad costs double than the Federation for American Immigration Reform, an anti-immigration reform group’s spending in Ryan’s district.

Ryan has been working behind-the-scenes for the Gang of Seven’s immigration reform House Bill without joining their efforts. He has maintained a careful distance. According to the dailybeast, he favors a piecemeal approach.
